You know it's cute how some people come the beach to people watch threw social media. But the truth is I come here off and on not just because I just love the beach. I hate the sand but to be honest it was the only place I had to go for almost two years. The only time I had any problems was when I invited a "Friend" to keep me company. Total train wreck. The surfside police does a great job as well as the County officer's that grace us with their presence and security. Thank you Surfside Beach.
It's nice you need to be careful any anywhere you go, but this beach is nice and safe. I have a friend on the police Dept out there. They makes rounds every 2 hours. Have fun

Yes, you can camp as long as you want. Just be sure to clean up any mess you make. Have a great weekend
Yes it's safe and not crowded. I've seen people tent camping alone.
