You didn't say what kiind of store you are looking for but the simple answer is "yes" whatever you need is close by.

There are also propane stations but ask the Rangers there for the best ones. They know the local spots best.

Dollar General is less than a mile, Walmart 3 miles, the Mall is about 10 minutes. Most major stores available in Kerrville within 15 minutes in any direction. Plenty of Fast Food and Restaurants to choose from including a local bar and grill right next door.

Heb is about 10 mins away, there are a handful of gas stations and restraunts with 3 or 4 mins. The office sells wood and has a vending machine
