We were out there 4 days this past week and had a great breeze all day, sometimes the water got a little rough but calmed down a few hours later.
Depends on the winds I guess. When we were there we saw kayakers, a pontoon boat, and a zippy motorboat. It's a pretty lake and there is plenty of room for a hobie cat, just cross fingers for a breeze.
