I don't see any signs saying you can't, and I personally have brought my canoe out there and seen others do the same, bringing kayaks. I've seen Sheriffs and DNR roll through out there and they haven't said anything to me. As long as you don't camp on the shores I don't think they care.
I haave not seen any rules stating that can or can't I have seen people in little boats out there. So I would. I have also seen canoe out there also there was even ranger there day he sighted for being on the water.
