You need to make reservations for this campground. Bring water too. Bring some TP....they do run out at times. Lots of space between sites. A very nice campground.

A very beautiful location. Near by restrooms although sometimes not taken care of they’re usually pretty clean. Reservoir nearby is beautiful with chances of catching some trout! 10/10 would come here again

Very scenic and private. There was only one other lot taken by campers. It’s $20 for a night so also affordable. We were lot 11

Warning these sites are online reservation only. Clearly divided, clean, but pretty packed campground. Good for family fun and new campers but not the wilderness experience I usually get from rec.gov

Yes, sometimes the water gets an algae bloom and looks dirty. But there are some great rope swings to jump in and swim.

I know that there is no drinking water, but is there a water faucet to get water for washing dishes and hands?

The "river" is an agricultural divert. Not safe to drink but okay to bring a bucket to and retrieve water to take back to camp. It's NOT okay to wash dishes or put soap in the running water, not even biodegradable soap.

I don't see any signs saying you can't, and I personally have brought my canoe out there and seen others do the same, bringing kayaks. I've seen Sheriffs and DNR roll through out there and they haven't said anything to me. As long as you don't camp on the shores I don't think they care.
