Fist off this was part of out family reunion activities. The kids loved it, but We had a reservation from 3-6 PM. when we arrived the air had not been turned on and it was HOT!. it is just a swap cooler so it took a long time to somewhat cool off. If you make a reservation call ahead of arrival and ask them to turn on the air. Bring your own everything: skates, strollers, rollerblades, skooters, balance bikes. anything that rolls. Also bring a cooler with ice and drinks. also pre download all your music as the WIFI does not connect. so we had to listen to whatever was already downloaded on our phones. It was fun and I would go again, just not in the heat of summer.

Bring your own skates. Finding a match in your size (that doesn't hurt) is almost impossible. Ceiling and walls are crumbling. Had a decent sound machine and the floor wasn't too uneven. Since it's the only place to skate in southern Utah... Can't be picky.

The skates are terribly used, there are hardly any pairs, and the place was trashed when we got there. We thought it would be fun for Christmas Eve, and it was fun! But half of the group couldn’t find any skates that worked. If you have your own skates it would be alright but it still is just an old old place that needs maintenance.

It's nice to be able to rent a room for a gathering We have fond memories of skating there when it was run like a real Skating Rink growing up. It s Really Run down & Really needs some Cleaning, Oiling, Fixing, ,& if they'd run the Old Swamp cooler All the time it would actually cool it off enough to enjoy the party. Plus What the deal with putting in a couple of Blinds or a Curtain,? Spending some real time in the best old sister & displaying some of them in a case. We did like that they bought some roller blades so they was actually something to use. If you want to have the best experience bring your own skates. There inexpensive at big 5 if you watch for sales. They do have some for sale down stairs in gas station. We wish they would have s free time each week that the local kids could pay a small fee to go learn to live dance or skate etc... We are glad they here ,& would like to see it be an asset.
