It was heartbreaking seeing the big cats. The cages are so small. They have no room at all.

Agreed. There are better places for those animals to retire to than a six by six jail cell with a closed off dog run. I'm sure they get regular food, but is it worth living locked up all the time?

The animals are allowed to run and stretch at intervals in a way that is safe for them. Considering the schedule of big cats and the like, who sleep or lay around for large portions of the day, which are during visiting hours, I wasn't put off by it at all. The length of visiting hours for a day is shorter than some naps those animals take. Anyone who thinks the park ceases animal care when the public leaves has likely not asked any employees how the animals are kept healthy. If you want the animals to have better enclosures, I'm sure the owners would be thrilled to have someone sponser a new enclosure

Dont talk about it...BE ABOUT IT!! Reach into your pockets and donate, donate, donate. Call and speak to the employees to gain a better understanding of how the park is run. It always amazes me how people can be sad about this and that yet never actually do anything about it. Tears in the eyes of Rachel Anderson here but I guarantee that was her only contribution to the animals. The animals thank you for helping them with your sadness. ACTION people....help comes in the form of ACTION. Saying what you think here only serves to make the animals conditions worse because people dont visit and the park has less revinue to actually help and feed the animals. Im visiting the park today or sunday how about you???
