Thanks Mike,! Do you know any nice secluded places on the water that even a novice can catch some nice fish?

All along the campground the water is thick with weeds. Most likely need a boat to get out far enough. We tried dock by the lodge end of the lake. Not good. Maybe bad moment midday in the heat. Another small lake to the northwest of Itasca had really good fishing.
