We have a tour that leaves an hour before dark and comes back 30 minutes after dark. That is the best time to see alligators. The Captains will try to pick one up and let you touch it. All of the alligators are wild. We will try to find one that it is safe to handle.
We saw some baby alligators on our tour, but mama gator was not happy. She was hissing up a storm and chewing on the boat. So I would say, no.
These were wild alligators, not on a farm or in pools. If Arthur feels the need to catch one for you to hold, I guess he will. Love the stubby comment.
