You do not specify your age in your question. We have occasional chess programs in our Teen area but we do not offer a Chess Club as an adult, regularly occurring event. The Fort Myers Regional Library has vast outdoor seating on the Cornog Plaza as well as a Reading Deck on the 2nd Floor. We have tables and chairs throughout the 2nd Floor where you can play chess, but boisterous play would be discouraged. We also have study rooms that can accommodate up to 4 people at a time. I would encourage you to visit the the library, check out the space, and speak to our staff at the Reference Desk on the 2nd Floor.
