There is frisbee golf. And a zip line tree to tree course. Many campsites are located directly on the lake
Yes , there is overflow parking at Gilmore as well as the other campgrounds. You do have to get a pass from the visitor center. Gilmore is walking distance to the lake. It’s about 1/2 mile. There are hiking trails that take you beaver bay beach area. There is also a trail down to the group camps and you can walk to buttonhook bay. Kids activities, take them hiking. Gilmore has a large open area where the kids can play all kinds of games.
