Yes, you can. I am not aware of what time parking enforcement goes around to mark the parking times, but at worst they would pay the $5 for "one day" of parking if you get unlucky with timing.
You can park for a little bit, probably an hour at most. They aren't supposed to charge during drop off or pick up times for flights.
