Tiniest airport I'd ever been to. Seating is very old, torn and dirty. Once thru security, there is a very small seating area, no bathrooms, no water, nothing. Still, when everything runs smoothly, it's a decent enough airport to pass through. Staff were all nice. It's just not somewhere you want to be stuck for hours. TSA had all the passengers leave security, then they literally packed it up & went home early afternoon before it was even officially announced our flight was cancelled. Rental car counter also closes early afternoon. Very spotty cell phone service. Luckily we managed to call a cab service to get us to a hotel in town.

Don’t be first thru TSA… Wait until 5 minutes prior to boarding so u don’t contract Covid by herding like Cattle in the Gate, added bonus of being last is you can take your time gathering your belt, shoes etc…

Incredibly unhelpful staff, rude and inconsiderate, my worst airport experiences have always been here. Unprepared and unprofessional, every delay i’ve has has been because of crew or maintenance. You would be much better off flying out of Iron Mountain, don’t waste your time here.

Absolutely tiny airport, but very efficient. No food/drink shop, and only one bathroom, which is only accessible before you go through security. Given how small the airport is, I would arrive 30-45 minutes before boarding. There is only one gate and very few flights per day, only using small commuter planes. There will never be more people in the airport than there are seats on your flight.

Uber and lyft have limited service. There is a few taxi services up here and I'd recommend reaching out to one of them.
If you mean to pay for parking, Houghton County Memorial Airport, 24810 Airpark Blvd Calumet 49913. There is a red metal box in the vestibule that you can drop your envelope in next time.
Look on National car rental. Make sure you put in 11:30 pm. When you fly out in am just drop the keys in the Dropbox.

There are no direct flights, assuming you mean Superior, WI. All flights in and out of CMX go through Chicago O'Hare.
Yes, you can. I am not aware of what time parking enforcement goes around to mark the parking times, but at worst they would pay the $5 for "one day" of parking if you get unlucky with timing.
Driving? 337 miles. Flying? About 700 with one stop at O’hare.
