Email is good, but I would recommend going up there so you can see the park. Fast track is best for party. The dinosaur park is just a walk thru.

Not sure about parties but as others said, Cajun Fast Track is fun and does them
There is a pavilion and a small park outdoors. But, Cajun Track next door may be another option.
Not sure about the prehistoric park doing birthdays because there's not a whole lot to do there but right next door (walking distance across a parking lot) they have Cajun Fast Track Arcade and Go-Carts and they do great birthday parties. And from there the prehistoric park is pretty cheap for additional entertainment but i wouldnt try to book just for the dinosaurs because it really wouldnt be worth it IMO. Hope this helps :)
