Its been pretty clean everytime i went except once when i was having a picnic there.which is kind of sad considering there was a garbage can right next to the tables. It really depends on the people if the clean up after them selves or not, luckily i dont live far so brought a broom.
Garbage and broken glass and things like that are not a common issue. However, understand that the creek does have some runoff water from the roads, parking lots, and neighborhoods nearby. Also, there are fish and other wildlife living in, and pooping in, or nearby, the creek just like any body of fresh water. We let our kids play in the water. We just always make sure they get showers when we get home.
It's generally free of garbage and the like.
