I was there right after the storm and then a week or so later. They didn't raise prices.

The prices were not raised, they were all regular menu prices. No they didn't offer any breakfast specials or the "Early Bird " in the evening. I can promise you the prices were not raised.

I live down the street from Sawmill. They never raised their prices after the storm. I should know..I eat there all the time. They stopped the early bird specials for a few weeks after the storm because they had the business open to First Responders Only from 6am to 8am so that these people could eat and get out to help those devastated by Florence. They also were short staffed and short on supplies after the storm because Hwy 17 and Route 421 had washouts limiting deliveries. Tim..I'm not sure where you reside, but it's certainly not here. Otherwise, you would know they never raised a dime on their menu and they took care of the people that took care of us.

That's terrible they'd inflate prices after a disaster. Their food was ok, but not worth all that. Thanks for the info.

Raising prices are they? After a devastating storm? Gouging if you ask me. There are better places to eat. See ya sawmill!!!

The prices were not raised, but they did not offer the early bird specials for about two weeks. Many regular customers eat there between 3 and 5 PM, so the regulars had to pay full price, plus an additional $2.00 for a drink. They fed the line workers for free, but subsidied it on the back of their regular customers, who support the restaurant every day. So, that is what they think of the regular customers
