Thank you for your question. The regularly-scheduled scenic train ride is 4 hours. You are on the train for a 1.5 hours in each direction and you have a 1 hr layover for lunch. If you are riding with us on Polar Express the ride is approximately 1 hour long. We will look forward to having you onboard Texas State Railroad

The train leaves around ten and we were back at 2:30 also make sure you order your lunch before you ride the train you can call and they will take your order
