Seems like it was about $10 but they charge you an extra $3 for the tools. You can being your own to save a few bucks. A spaghetti strainer and garden Spade is all you need. Please Be kind to nature! Don't dig up the banks.
Cheapest is a $5 native bucket which is the only bucket not salted then you can pay $10 to creek mine(salted) $20-25 for creek & dig(salted) $3 for tools then it gets experience several different buckets all salted your best bet on buckets will most likely be the $50 Cutters Choice you WILL get rocks worth more than $50 which can be cut and mounted on site at the lapidary for an extra charge of course

There are a variety of options to buy a bucket of dirt - each enhanced with different types of gemstones. They can go pretty high but we shared a bucket for around 30 something. Not bad. Something fun to do.
The creek is the best choice if you bring kids, especialy if you have more than 2 kids and dont want to spend a bunch of money. You WILL find stuff i the creek if you are not blind.
