Chicks must stay at 95 degrees or so for first couple weeks, they will need a heat lamp, chick starter and room temperature water.
We ordered isa brown chickens. We didn't know they were going to be so young, any advice on how to keep them alive, they are warm and cuddled up but can they eat regukar starter chick food? We kinda forced them to have a little water cause we were worried... 6am all dead. How can that be ok. How can you send people animals that just die. It's cruel and very disappointing
Give the customer service a call tomorrow. They will take care of you. Hoovers has great customer service and guarantee their chicks.
They are meer hours old when they ship the cold could have an effect on them depends on what you ordered some of the smaller birds
