Are there benches along the trails for sitting for older people who need to rest a little?

There are benches in the main areas. The paths are regular ground and not concrete. The animals are in their regular habitat for the most part.

Yes in some spots, and in that case I'd also make sure to go on a cooler day as there are stretches without shade; the hotter days would be a bit much for someone like that.

There are more benches in the North America area through the trees then the other side... About half way through there are portapottys, a shop, screened in seating and a play area for kids.
