Cape san blas allows dogs on the beach on a leash. It's 10 miles from presnells. My 2 80 pounders loved it. That doesn't include the state park beach further down the road .

I was told by gulf county chamber that gulf county allows dogs on public beaches. Only on leashes. Im not from the area. Plus I've read many different things. Was told and read state parks don't allow dogs and don't have a beach to use nor do some state parks let you camp.
The beach in Port St Joe near the marina is pet friendly. Our dogs love to go play there!

Check with the Florida start parks website. They should tell you. I believe that we saw people walking pets on the beach at Cape San Blas. We went horseback riding on that beach. If they allow livestock, they should allow pets on leaches.
