Great stay! Beach access was nicely located away from the more populated public access areas. Lot of stairs to get down, but your elevated from the beach, which makes for some great views. Pool/spa area was also great and well kept up. Not 5 star on service only because one of the two pool attendants was a bit overbearing and rude, the other, newer, attendant was very nice though. The rooms were very clean, maybe a bit dated, but still great for the price. Restaurant was also very good, and felt more upscale than places in Ocean Shores. Will definitely stay again!

We went back for the third year in a row to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, and probably will not return. Our favorite room is 207 for the amazing views, but the deck is so spongy, it's time for a new one. The restaurant so celebrated was not this trip. They used to have local artisan booths right when you walked in the restaurant that were very nice to look at and or buy while you were waiting to be seated. Those are gone and they don't even have their t-shirts for sale anymore. They were out of everything and my favorite crab omelette was not even on the menu. I was told that seafood is too expensive now. Weird to say that as on the lunch menu they charge $28 for a cheeseburger. We were not told about the remodel when we called to make a reservation so instead of being able to listen to the ocean in the morning we were listening to pressure washers and air compressors. Last but absolutely not the least, we had a family with multiple dogs and multiple children underneath us which I guess is expected at hotels like Motel 6 but they let the kids out at 7:00 a.m. and then left the room with the dogs in it barking. Probably more heartbroken than anything else. The prices they charge warrant a much better experience. My wife really loves this place but we actually spent one of our three days there looking at bed and breakfast in Moclips for next year. Beyond disappointed.

It’s probably good for them not to list the restaurant and hotel separately. I would definitely give the restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I wasn’t expecting much for the restaurant honestly. I went in guessing I was going to get an expensive yet average tasting / prepared meal. Even once I was sitting reading the menu, when I saw that they served a variety of ethic meals, it often means their trying to hard and don’t do anything well. I left with both my wife and I saying how amazing it was. And it wasn’t overly expensive. We tend to share meals a lot. We both enjoyed both meals and actually preferred the other’s meal. So again, the restaurant gets 5 stars. But the hotel, while it had plenty of space, was definitely more motel than resort. Staff were all pleasant. Pool was decent. View was great.

The renovated rooms are lovely and well appointed. We stayed in room 207 which has fantastic views of the ocean and only balcony. The staff surprised us with a card, chocolates and flowers for our 25th wedding anniversary. (Jess is so thoughtful.) We have stayed at Ocean Crest many times and are so happy to see the updates and care taken to keep this place a hidden gem. Thank you!

Hi Maryann. We have 45 rooms in 23 different room types, a little of something for everyone. To answer your question specifically, a Top Floor, Ocean View Room would be between $227 and $257 per night. We don't charge for extra people, so that rate is for up to maximum occupency of the room. You would also have access to Cedar Serenity Spa, our indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, exercise room, tanning and massage (tanning and massage are extra). We have different specials and packages that we offer most of the year depending on the season. We also offer AARP, AAA, and Military discounts. Dicounts cannot be combined and can only be applied if you book directly with us because we have to pay 3rd party booking sites a commission.
Yes the hot tub n pool are upen but massages are not available
Cell reception depends on your carrier. Verizon and US Cellular seem to do the best as do a lot of the prepaid phones. We do have WiFi at the resort.
When most people say Brunch they are talking about a Buffet. We do not have a Brunch Buffet. We serve breakfast from 8:30 until 11:30 and lunch is served from 11:30 until 3:00.
The fireplaces are not electric, they burn DuraFlame logs. The kitchenettes do have eating utensils and basic cooking utensils.
My son, 4th Generation at Ocean Crest Resort, is allergic to Dairy, Peanuts, Macadamia, and Kiwi. I have trained my kitchen extensively in food allergies and cross contamination issues. We are among the safest restaurants for people with Food Allergies.
