Are we allowed to fish off the jetty? I have a friend who's been fishing all over it for a while now and he says that the signs are just for liability.

We have fished there for years. Never had a problem. They don't want anyone past the sign.

I would rather follow the signs than get a ticket but that's just me.

No in fact there's a sign posted that no one can't get on there but it doesn't say no fishing 🎣
