I agree with Mirela...lower is a bad idea...best place is dogwood ramp

I would be careful going to the lower part of ledges a lot of holes and snags and it's not as scenic as the upper the best place to enter there is e57 bridge also known as the dogwood ramp or if you want to get into sailorville that goes through ledges park take the highway 210 and highway 17 which enters the sailorville reservoir that goes into ledges

I wouldn't take my canoe there, water is too low for it. Salorville is really your best option.

I think in the lower parking, the creek might not be high enough for kayaking, but if it is the area that connects to the DSM river would be best.
