Yes and no. When hiking they're obviously roaming around, but doesnt mean you'll run into one. My husband and I saw a snake up three forks trail, aka fifth waters trail and hotsprings and was warned about a rattler on the way down. Youll less likely see them in campgrounds but still a possibility, should never exclude that cause they could very well seek the warmth.

Probably its in a canyon and its the right habitat but we didnt see any when we were there
