It's an awesome place, except the gnats are really bad at this time of year but that's host mother nature so it still gets five stars. Also, beware of VERY SLIPPERY rocks if you're going in the water.

Usually a pretty great area to fish, quite a few white bass. Today 5/16/21, bittersweet as beautiful early morning fishing with views brought the news of 2 missing boys found just down from us. 😢

Yes. But be careful. It's mostly rocks for the first LIKE 15 feet and they are VERY SLIPPERY. Some grippy water shoes will do you well. Also be aware that at this time of year there's billions of gnats which makes for a somewhat unpleasant lake experience. If you go towards the end of August it's about 80% better.
