Its open but they tend to open late and close early some seasons. It may be based on attendance or the current operator. Be sure to bring everything you need, there are no stores for about 10 miles to get supplies. Unless you don't mind paying almost $5 for a bag of ice at the marina store halfway to town. Have fun and Please clean up your mess. Be respectful of others who come after you. Take all the photos and memories, leave only tracks in the sand. Protect the wildlife from trash and fishing line that can injure or kill the birds and animals. Enjoy the Eagles and Ospreys but hide your food from the Crows - they're always watching and will destroy a loaf of bread. Lol
