But while riding roller coasters can be fun, trying to figure out what to do with your stuff may be a hassle. Whether you are riding a coaster that goes upside down or not, valuables may still be lost. Secure your belongings as much as possible and follow the rules of the roller coaster you are riding to better your safety. Place items in your pockets that are closest to the inside of the roller coaster. Only do this on a roller coaster that doesn't go upside down. Wear clothing with pockets that either zip or button. Having zippered pockets will secure your items more than pockets that have buttons on them. Place smaller items into the closed pouch in front of you, attached to the roller coaster. Kingda Ka and El Toro have a strictly enforced no keys/phones policy (for good reason) and will force you to either buy a locker ($1 for single-use, or $8 for an all day locker that moves with you) or leave your phone with a non-rider. For all other rides, you can keep stuff it in your pocket with no issues.
Usually they'll let you keep things inside a zippered pocket, but last time even this was an issue for some reason. They don't have cubbies in the station, but they have lockers around the park that are reasonably priced.
Most of the rides have lockers you cant rent for $1 for two hours (or unti you open it), or you can leave your stuff on the exit side of most of the rides, but at your own risk
