Safari is not separate. I suggest buying season passes while they're cheap....water park is great for the young ones. And a few things in the regular park.
No, the safari is basically a ride within the park that you need to wait in line for like any other ride. You should at least be able to take advantage of child ticket prices, though. Also, there are a few children's ride/play areas inside the park, as well as a sea lion show and a small exhibit with some lion cubs and other animals.
I dont think the safari is a separate park anymore (it used to be)... Now its an attraction inside Great Adventure. You can buy tickets to the park and take them on the tour, and theres a whole section for very young kids, as well sea lion shows, goat feedings, and a wildlife walkway
I don't think you can. The safari is simply one of the rides in the park.
