There is fishing in several areas around Anderson camp however, no fishing at location. Within a 15 minute drive you could drown a worm at several fishing holes such as Derkies Lake, or lake Walcot.

There is fishing down in the Snakeriver Canyon for smallmouth bass and rainbow x cuttthroat hybrids. Hike down the trail on the northside of the canyon by the Hanson bridge. Its a fairly steep trail. Not for elderly folks or young children. Upstream past the bridge is Pair of Dice rapids. Downstream there are some springs. Derkies Lake at Shoshone Falls has Largemouth bass and stocked trout bluegill. Over by Hazelton Idaho is a irrigation resiviour with perch smallmouth & yellowbelly, channel catfish
