Really beautiful place to camp. Restrooms aren't flushing type, but were reasonably clean. They don't allow too many people so it isn't overly crowded.

The stars are not for lake and surrounding area. Those are both amazingly gorgeous. But I was not impressed with the campground. The land itself was nice and shady but it was very pricey for what it offered. 2 nights with an extra car cost $60. There was no running water, luckily I brought a bunch of extra water. (For the price, I expected water) The bathrooms had the sinks ripped off so no way to wash your hands. Maybe that wasn't something could avoid, but they should drop the price due to the lack of water. Other than that, I really enjoyed it there.

This was a great Campground. There was space between the camps, there was trees big beautiful trees, there were lots of bathrooms. It was a nice area to walk. The lake was right nearby. It's my new favorite Campground

Probably seeing as how the snow is melting fast. Check recreation.gov for updates.
No it's closed due to road construction. I saw it was closed while driving by, and saw an alert about refunding reservations for Aug-September when I looked it up on the website so it sounds like it might be closed for awhile.
