It was SUPER crowded. Like I booked my spot using the app and got the last spot, but as a novice camper I felt good about having people nearby. Yeah....no....waaaayyyy too close to each other. My immediate tent neighbors didn't show up until 1030 or 11 pm and showed up loudly arguing after I'd already fallen asleep and I could hear every word because....well, they were so close. Even the next morning I could hear them whisper arguing inside their tent about the thunder rolling in. The noise around the whole campground continued well past 10pm though as I fell asleep after from sheer exhaustion despite the sound of small children calling out and random bursts of music/videos from someone's phone, and other louder activities that I feel most campgrounds have quiet time rules to address. I had no idea what time check in was, but did find out check out wasn't until after 2pm later, although I left around 5am after hurriedly bundling up my camping gear so as not to get soaked since I was driving up into Canada that morning to Banff and didn't want to worry about drying it out. Regardless, I got little to no sleep due to the noise because after the thunder started, so did the arguing next door, so no going back to sleep even if I did want to dry out the tent. Overall, I'd find a more dispersed spot next time for camping than here. It's a gorgeous area with lake access on site, so it's definitely worth a stop, but not if you want to sleep well.

Sweet little beach! It was open for day use and we were so glad to go to the beach as a family. They have clear markings showing depth. Water was chilly, but pretty clean and a little rocky. The beach was crowded at 1pm on a July Saturday, makes sense, but we couldn’t find a spot on the beach so had to go on the grass in the woods. Overall, a great experience!

Very clean, welcoming staff. Nice spots for a tent or two. Has bathrooms, showers and dishwashing station. Water spout for fresh water and garbage cans located around the loop. Fire pits and wood available. A little noisy, not bad…traffic and train. Lots of bugs (bring spray).

Great camping spot. Beautiful. Sandy beach. Free hot showers. Felt very safe. Hosts always doing rounds keeping things running smoothly.

We were there 2 weeks ago and there was no problem with either
Just log in or create an account on Idaho recreation.gov I paid 40 for 3 nights and hauling a large pop up trailer they have bathroom s and showers too
We went on the 4th of July. There where still a few walk up tent sights availabe. I'm sure extra kids would be fine however they limit the amount of tents per sight.
6 months out but there are walk in sites that may be available the day/week you want.
Yes there are sites for tents and they do have showers
I believe it was $20 for a tent site.
No power available
