When a facility sells open food, like deli or produce, it can be a health code violation. The American's with Disabilities Act requires businesses to accommodate service animals.
Pets generally aren't allowed in stores or restaurants which have or sell food. It's a sanitary issue. Plus the aisles are crowded enough without adding everyone's dog. You can take your pet to Pets Mart though! Just Google places that accept pets.
There is no need to take your dog grocery shopping
If you cant leave home with out your non service dog you should probably just walk back inside and lock the door. You dont need to take your pet to go shopping.
What reason would anyone possibly have for bringing their non-service animal into a grocery store? Think abut this...
You can bring your pets in the store
Will at our home town Wal-Mart I have see some take in there little house dogs.
People have a hard time keeping there dogs in line and it becomes a problem
People have taken advantage of servicedogs. Just like handicap parking just so they can take their pets in. Stores and restaurants and shopping with them
Probably because they don't have the obedience training certificate
