Thank you for asking. Yes driving and parking is allowed on the beach. It is considered a state highway so all Washington driving laws apply. Speed limit is 25 mph. The approaches are in pretty good shape right now with pretty much compacted sand, but conditions change daily. As Tom mentioned stay in the driving lanes and out of the soft sand near the dunes and away from the surf/clam beds and you should be fine. If you don't have all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive you might want to consider bringing a shovel. Local towing is a min of $300.

Yes you can, be prepared to watch people driving out to see the best path, depending on your vehicle.
