Had dinner on Wednesday steak night special. The steak was very tender and cooked exactly as ordered. Baked potato was large and came with all the fixings. Side salad was also good. The corn was mushy, but the steak was so big you don't need corn anyway. The waiter was also very nice.

Tourists please be advised! Most locals don't really like you. You trash our beaches! You drive 10mph under the speed limit. Most of you are entitled city folks. This is small town, with small towns things move a bit slower. But we have strong family values and we support our local businesses. You come here for vacation and then disrespect us in our community. Also pertaining to Waitress never came back to check on us. It is a bar! You yell barkeep. Or go to the bar to order. The local bar is GREAT place to get food. Out of all the bars between Grayland and Westport. The local is superior. Staff are amazing they are almost understaffed but still manage to give you excellent service. I recommend the local burger or chicken. I am old enough to go in but I still order at the window like I did when I was Jr high and high school. Notice: no one at the Local knows I wrote this. I gathered all the info from watching tourists come in and act entitled and reading the reviews. My views and opinions don't reflect their's.

O.M.G .......Where to start! Old school neighborhood tavern where people actually sit next to a stranger and TALK with them! Smiles are a serious contagion, jokes are free, and the chairs get more comfortable as the night goes on 😀 If you need a real honestly cooked bite to eat there is no other place to go. The Local Bar has never disappointed. Start with the Local Burger, come back for Fish (twice at least), then get brave and try some bar staples like onion rings or mozzarella sticks. If you are passing through they offer call in ordering to go.

Food was excellent! Servers need to remember that if you want a tip, you need to come back and check on the customer. We shouldn't have to find you in order to get silverware or another round of drinks drinks
