Cedar valley does not put animals down..cr animal shelter by kirkwood college does put animals down because they don't want to deal with them..i also heard they won't even put on website so the owners can find their pets...
They have pics but not always up to date. Also the C.R. animal shelter is completely different then Cedar Valley. Besides being two totally differnt business in different places, the Animal Shelter is mostly picked up strays and the do euthanize their animals. If your looking for a certain breed, especially a puppy of that breed look up lost hope, it's on 16th st se and is privately funded and more likely to have puppies. Plus they foster their animals out until they are able to find forever homes. Only downside is being completely independently funded it is a little more expensive and the process is a little longer because they come do home visits first to make sure you and the dog are a good fit.
