In South Carolina you have to have a permit to camp on the beach. Right now, no one is handing out permits due to erosion from hurricanes, and sea turtles. But you can get a permit in the winter months easily. Just not on Isle of Palms, Folly or Sullivan's. We have been able to get permits on Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, and Surfside areas. You have to go to the city for permits.
There is no camping on the beach. Beach closes at 10pm at the pier
Don't think so. Park closes at Sunset. Outside lights on ocean front house at 10pm during summer season.
No. Camping is not allowed anywhere on Folly Beach.
