Can people who buy bring a friend tickets get in the park an hour early with the pass holder? If so can all 4 get in or just 1?

No. Only the platinum passholder gets the early entry.

The person with the platinum pass is the only person who can get in early! But the platinum pass does include discounts for your friends but it wouldn't get them in early along with you, they'd have to purchase the same pass as you if you all wanted to go in early at once!
