Free to the public. Pretty nice place to park and bring a telescope. Really dark spot at night so star gazing is at its best here. Even on clear nights you can see Mars if you have a really really good telescope. I'm talking one maybe $400 and up not anything really to fancy. But watching meteorites hit the moon cause this spot is so dark just puts you in a different kind of mood you know. Watching them explode hitting the moon is just magical!!!

Yes.. and it's a great place to go to the beach. When we went it wasn't to crowded and it was clean ...we loved it.
