Yes as long as they're on a leash

People do bring dogs yes. As long as you have them on a leash (not tethered) and they are people/dog friendly then there's not really a problem. People have dogs almost every time I have gone.

I've seen people with dogs there and have been perfectly fine

When I was there I didn't see any dogs. The space to stay with kids that isn't too deep is small .
