Are drones allowed? There’s not a lot of areas to fly in Bellingham due to tight restrictions with the FAA & the Bakerview Airport. I am a local aerial videographer looking for good nature shots.

Unfortunately "No Fly Zone" in Birch Bay state park why I have not a clue but, you can fly at the beach in Birch Bay!

Theres is no law against flying drones on DNR land but there is in national parks and national forest and if I am not mistaken blanchart forest and chuckanut mountains are actually DNR property other than the areas that are private property.

Some state parks issue a Permit for a specific day to fly your drone. Apply two weeks ahead. Wa state parks each have their own guidelines. There is an official Drone video showing Oysyer Dome area, a hike off Chukanut. You might check that out.

No, I don't think they are here due to the proximity to the airport.
