Rescue is your best bet. Although the fee seems high, it's nothing compared to the new cat, vet fees you would have otherwise. With RAS(Verona St), the fee includes... Initial vet check, shots, deworming, flea treatment, microchip, Spay/neuter and a Care PKG with coupons. The first visit with a vet of your choice is also included free. Other cat rescues have their own incentives to help you with your new furbaby experience. Remember, there are so many animals that need a second chance and will be a furever grateful to be rescued....no need to buy......ADOPT!

Ive adopted 5two cats from Verona street pound. Best cats i have ever gotten. The adoption fee goes to help for care of critters.

Rochester animal services also does free pet days. I believe they are once a month. If you go to their website or follow them on Facebook they should be able to let you know when they are. They just had one last weekend and lots of dogs and cats went to happy homes.

Please call them. It's usually around. $100 but if they don't have one check with lollipop farm. They have free cat and kitten give aways a few times a year. Free but if not then it can be around $100 because your paying for the shots and deworming and other expenses. Good luck! I have 3 cats all raised from a kitten. I love email 😊
