So I went here about 3 months ago and this place was fun but it's in huge disrepair. I did notice some porta potties and equipment by the entrance so maybe they were going to start renovating some rough areas? I did not see anything on their website about this but I suppose it is possible. This is what I did find on their website. Operating Schedule The Visitor Center at Fort Stark State Historic Site will be open Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 am to 3:30 pm from Memorial Day until Labor Day. It is also open on federal holidays during this period. It has military artifacts and information about the 22nd Coastal Artillery which was headquartered at Fort Stark in New Castle during World War II. The area also has a walking trail with an information guide, a small beach and kayak access to the ocean and Little Harbor. There are no rest rooms and only limited parking.
