Open houses are usually every Sunday from late May (Memorial Day weekend) through mid-October (Columbus Day weekend) from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This year there are tours by advance reservation, with the regular open houses resuming on August 1. Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse is located on Coast Guard Station Portsmouth Harbor in New Castle, NH, which is currently closed to the public except during lighthoue tours.
