There are dogs around the trails and I've taken my guys swimming a little downstream of the waterfall. I haven't seen any at the beach area that's just day passes, but the other side of the lake, the camping beach area has had a couple dogs, I've seen playing fetch in the water and people have their dogs along the campsites as well. It can be a little crowded, especially now that EVERYONE is trying to get away on the weekends. So you'll be surrounded and close up.
