No. You can walk them down the trail and off to the side is a grassy part...the right of the trail "south"...that's technically not "the beach". Just a loophole if you're interested in taking a chance.

ANYONE can walk (with their leashed dog) on the shoreline on any Great Lakes beach in Michigan per the Michigan Supreme court. The public has the right to walk along the shoreline per the public trust doctorine and Great Lakes Submerged Lands Act. "Permits pedestrian use of our Great Lakes, up to and including the land below the ordinary high water mark'. Walk down the old boat launch on the south end if the park to the beach. All this said, as of 6/2019 the lake levels are so high there is no beach or way to pass in front of houses where the water is up to the seawall besides going in the water.
