No. But I've never seen a problem with the dogs in the same area..its very large. The one at Veteren park has seperate areas.
Yes, I am pretty sure there's a smaller area for smaller dogs. If not the dog park at Quail Ridge has an area for smaller dogs.
No designated areas for small dogs
Not that I saw when I was there. The dog park has one big fenced area (except for the entrance gates which is where you take the leashes off). However, the dog park is huge - so much space. You will not be crowded. However, you should be prepared for other dogs to approach and interact with your dog. The down side to this free dog park is that no one has to prove that their dog is sociable or vaccinated.
Great question, Natalia! They do not remember an area reserved specifically for small dogs. I'm drawing a blank on the name of the one off of 5th St in St Charles, but they have areas that are specifically gated to the sizes of a dog. A bunch the dogs were playing together either near or in the water and there were 5 dogs playing by the park shelter and there were all sizes of pups getting along splendidly. I really need to take my nephew's dog back out to have some playtime with some other pups.
