This tour was well worth the trip! It was inexpensive compared to other tours and the your guide is extremely well informed.
They explain the history of the place during their tour. I believe the mine was lost during/after WW2 and was discovered a decade or so after when the new land owner saw bats flying out of the ground. I'd strongly recommend a tour if you're in the area. It was quite interesting!
