The train ride isn't very long so I doubt it would hurt your back. There is a lot of walking. We had someone in our group with a cane & the guide did not rush him.

No, but the walk is long so if you have a problem walking you may want to reconsider going on the tour. When I went half way through I sat down in a chair. Scary because I was all alone as the group continued on. Dead quite little light. My mind went to thinking about ghost of dead miners. Lol
