If I come with my husband to the Emergency Department am I allowed to stay in the room with him??

My boyfriend was not allowed at bedside due to Covid. He sat in our SUV until I was discharged.

I would call first . But I believe so but I had my mom she was 83 with me and they made her leave sit in her car I think because of age and covid. But call first best to know for certain
